John Luther Adams' Become Ocean in "The Revenant"

If you've seen the trailer for the new film "The Revenant" then you've heard music from John Luther Adams' Become Ocean, which was mixed and mastered right here at Dubway by Nathaniel Reichman.

In an expedition of the uncharted American wilderness, legendary explorer Hugh Glass (Leonardo DiCaprio) is brutally attacked by a bear and left for dead by members of his own hunting team.

Director Alejandro González Iñárritu (of "Birdman" and "Biutiful") knew he wanted Become Ocean in his new film. The music is in the trailer and is also the score for the incredibly ambitious opening scenes in which DiCaprio and his men are under attack from Native Americans.

Become Ocean was recorded in Seattle with the Seattle Symphony for Cantaloupe Music.
