Larry Fessenden Records Chopin Waltz No. 3 at Dubway Studios

Renowned independent horror filmmaker Larry Fessenden visited Dubway Studios to record Chopin’s Waltz No. 3 with engineer Elijah Sheets for a scene in his forthcoming “horror epic featuring the monsters from my other films all in one.” Fessenden’s production company, Glass Eye Pix, is known for its distinctive and influential catalog of indie horror films, including The Last Winter, Habit, and Wendigo.

Dubway is proud to have mixed Apple Music Live: Fuerza Regida, bringing the energy of one of today’s leading regional Mexican groups to a global audience. Nathaniel Reichman mixed the show in Atmos, helping bring the energy of the 70,000-strong crowd and the band’s eclectic acoustic set to life. Produced for both broadcast and streaming, the project called for a mix that preserved the intensity of the live performance while translating seamlessly across Apple TV+, Apple Music Videos, and Apple Music, which Dubway Studios was proud to deliver.

Dubway Records Commentary for "Murder in the First"

Dubway recently hosted a commentary session for the feature film Murder in the First (1995, starring Christian Slater, Kevin Bacon, and Gary Oldman), engineered by Teddy McPeek. The session featured renowned Director of Photography, Fred Murphy, providing insight into the visual storytelling, with remote direction by international film producer and distributor, StudioCanal.

DMC at Dubway Featured in New Paul Muldoon Documentary

We’re excited to share that Paul Muldoon: Laoithe 's Liricí, a new documentary celebrating the life and work of Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Paul Muldoon, is now available to stream via TG4. The film features a powerful segment recorded at Dubway with hip-hop icon DMC of Run-DMC, captured in August 2022.
