Jason Marcucci, Chief Engineer

Although a native New Yorker, Jason got his real start in Florida where he grew up. Jason learned his craft recording his own and other local bands. In 1995 he returned to New York and worked his way up through the ranks at several NYC studios, landing at Dubway in 1999. Now a seasoned professional, Jason has some of the biggest names in the industry on his list of credits including HBO Films, Angelo Badalamenti, & Nick Jr. Television. He is currently head engineer on the hit television show Live@VH1.com and has tracked and mixed live recordings of Alanis Morissette, Dave Matthews, Beck, David Gray, Bob Mould, Moby, Joss Stone, and The White Stripes to name just a few. He has also recorded Flaming Lips, Odetta Gordon, Olu Dara, and was an engineer on the Grammy nominated James Cotton album Baby, Don't You Tear My Clothes. His live sound recording experience is extensive as well, including such venues as Irving Plaza, Bowery Ballroom, and Live Music Channel.
