songwriters circleDubway Studios is proud to announce that we are one of the sponsors for the very prestigious New York Songwriters circle, donating $1000 of studio time to this years 2008 Songwriters Contest winner. Founded and directed by singer/songwriter Tina Shafer, The New York Songwriters Circle has been at the forefront of discovering top new songwriting talent for over 18 years.

Writers who have appeared in the past include Norah Jones, Vanessa Carlton, Lisa Loeb, Avril Lavigne, John Oats, Gavin Degraw, and Charlotte Sometimes. Kate Voegele, winner of the Circle's 2006 contest, is currently starring in the hit tv show One Tree Hill with her new video currently on MTV's TRL. Company of Thieves, winners of the 2007 contest, were recently named "one of the top bands to watch for in 2008" by the Chicago Daily Herald.

The Grand Prize includes $5,000 cash, a chance to perform at Madison Square Garden as part of The New York Songwriters Circle/New York Titans Concert series and professional recording studio sessions at Dubway Studios.

It's been a busy Spring season around Dubway Studios. The Nick Jr. runaway-hit kids' television show, The Backyardigans just wrapped the final episode of season three. The show continues to draw some of the most renowned studio musicians of our time including guitarists Mark Ribot & Smokey Hormel, and drummer Kenny Wollosen. Other guest musicians have included Billy Martin, John Medeski, Mauro Refosco, Tony Scherr, Brad Jones and Tony Trischka among others. The music is recorded in the old-school style of the Warner Brothers days with all the musicians in one large studio together at the same time. With no time to spare, Music Director Evan Lurie is already busy writing music for season four. Engineers for season three have included Keith Rigling, Mike Crehore, and Jessica Wernett assisting.

Apple's live music series Live From SoHo is drawing larger names to perform at its flagship retail store in New York City. Most recently, the series has hosted Counting Crows, Maroon 5, Morcheeba, & Linkin Park. Tracking the live performances are Dubway's own Jason Marcucci and Eric Spring, with Mike Judeh and Chris Abell assisting.

Over on the sets of Live@VH1 and VH1 Soul, The Black Crows performed songs from their new release Warpaint and Erykah Badu performed songs from her new album New Amerykah. Dubway engineer Jason Marcucci tracked the sessions and Mike Judeh assisted.

Grey's Anatomy star Sara Ramirez has been busy tracking songs at Dubway recently. The star can sing and is proving it on her upcoming album for Verve. Dubway engineer Chris Abell tracked the sessions with Keith Rigling.

And finally, the hugely popular internet radio station Breakthru Radio has been tracking live artist performances at Dubway. New Zealand band The Brunettes and New York based folk-singer Dawn Landes have both been recent guests on the show. Dubway engineer Mike Judeh tracked the sessions and John-David Hahs assisted.

And the Grammy goes to… Emery Dobyns! Dubway's own Emery Dobyns took home the Grammy for best-engineered album. Engineered Album, Non-Classical: "Beauty & Crime, Suzanne Vega" Tchad Blake, Cameron Craig, Emery Dobyns & Jimmy Hogarth, engineers. We are so proud!

KT Tunstall performed this month for Apple's Live From Soho iTunes event at the Apple Store in Soho. Tunstall played with a stripped-down version of her band with just a drummer and two backing singers. She packed the house and played a forty-minute set to a very enthusiastic crowd. Dubway Studios engineers Jason Marcucci & Mike Judeh tracked the session.

Teddy Thompson was in tracking guitar overdubs for his upcoming release. This time around he had dad Richard Thompson sit in on guitar. Dubway engineer Chris Abell recorded the sessions.

Over in Dubway's mastering room, famed producer Russ Titelman was mastering a new album by Broadway star Christine Ebersole. Dubway Studios owner/engineer Mike Crehore mastered. Ms Ebersole's album is due out later this year.

Actress Sara Ramirez from the hit television show Grey's Anatomy was in Dubway tracking demos of some songs she's written for Decca Records. Dubway engineer Chris Abell tracked.

And finally, young rockers The Postelles were back at Dubway tracking new songs for their new release. The band is working with producer Albert Hammond Jr. from The Strokes. Dubway engineer Mike Judeh tracked the sessions.

2007 Wrap Up

It's been another busy year here at Dubway. Over at the Live@VH1 set it's been busier than ever with performances by Lenny Kravitz, Lifehouse, Keyshia Cole, Wyclef Jean, and Sara Bareilles to name a few. Dubway engineers Chris Abell and Jason Marcucci tracked the sessions and were assisted by Mike Judeh & John-David Hahs.

Dubway recorded several iTunes Events at the Apple Store in SoHo in the last few months. The series is called Live From SoHo and the latest batch of artists include Taylor Swift, Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth, Q Tip, Simian Mobile Disco, Dave Gahan, and New Pornographers. The live performances were recorded by Dubway engineer Jason Marcucci and assisted by Mike Judeh & John-David Hahs.

Other big news around the studio is The Backyardigans won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation. Jeff Astolfo, animator. The show is also nominated for an Annie Award for Best Music in an Animated Television Production. Evan Lurie, Robert Scull & Steven Bernstein, writers. The Wood Brothers
of Medeski, Martin & Wood were in the Yellow Room tracking overdubs with Dubway engineer Chris Abell for their upcoming release. Nick Records brought in the new Backyardigans album Born To Play, for mastering with Dubway owner Mike Crehore. Mike Crehore and Dubway engineer Keith Rigling tracked the film score written by Evan Lurie for the new Stanley Tucci film Blind Date. Bubble Guppies is a new Nick Jr. show currently in production at Dubway and is an interactive, animated variety show for preschoolers set in 3D, CGI-animated underwater classroom.

And finally, Jessie Colter is back working on her new album produced by long-time Patti Smith guitarist Lenny Kaye. Dubway engineer Eric Spring tracked the sessions.

The folks at PBS Television (Iowa) brought in celebrated author Frank McCourt this month to record a television special called Historic Pubs of Dublin. The show will air later this year. Dubway engineer Keith Rigling tracked the session.

Actor Dallas Roberts was in to record ADR for his new film Long Shot from Pacific Direct. The film, directed by Jeff Balsmeyer is expected out sometime in 2008. Dubway's Chris Abell engineered.

Former US Attorney General Janet Reno was in to record an interview for the famous NPR show World Café. Ms. Reno is promoting a new recording of old-time American songs performed by contemporary artists called The Song of America. Engineered by Chris Abell.

Balance Films was in to film the pilot episode of their new series Making It In New York. The show is based on interviewing successful people in their careers and asking them what it takes to make it. Dubway Studio Manager Steven Alvarado was interviewed for the segment.

Dance/Pop songwriter Scott Hardkiss was in with actress Kate Hudson tracking music for a new film that Ms. Hudson is directing. Dubway engineer Jason Marcucci tracked the session.

Producer Mike Visceglia was in with folk/pop artist Dan Bern to support Sing SOS by contributing a song. The organization raises money for research to help find a cure for autism. Dubway engineer Eric Spring tracked the session.

And finally, folk/rock artist Wendy Wall was back at Dubway Studios to track overdubs for her new self-produced album due out in early 2008. Dubway engineer Eric Spring tracked the session.

Electronica/Lounge/Alternative group The Pinkertones performed at the SoHo Apple Store this month for Apple's iTunes Exclusives. The group gave a lively performance to a full house. Another iTunes Exclusive at the Apple SoHo Store was Nashville rock group Kings of Leon. The band is currently on tour in support of their RCA Records album Because of the Times. Dubway Chief engineer Jason Marcucci tracked and mixed both bands and Dubway engineer Mike Judeh assisted.

Over on the Live@VH1 set this month, singer-songwriter James Blunt performed a set to support his new Atlantic Records album All the Lost Souls. Also on the VH1 set, Grammy winner Jill Scott taped an hour-long special, and performed songs from her new album The Real Thing. Dubway Chief engineer Jason Marcucci tracked and mixed and Dubway engineer Mike Judeh assisted.

This month in the Yellow Room, Rent star Adam Pascal guest starred on the Nick Jr. animated hit television show The Backyardigans. Adam had a singing part and played a dragon. Dubway engineer Keith Rigling tracked the session and was assisted by Jessica Wernett.

Local New York City Shoegaze group Autodrone spent seven days in Dubway's Yellow Room, tracking 11 new songs for their fourthcoming album. Dubway Studios' engineer Eric Spring tracked the sessions and also signed on to produce the group. Mike Judeh, John-David Hahs, and Cole Wenner assisted.

Finally, New York indie-pop-rock group The Postelles tracked a four song EP this month to be released on their label Retone Records. The Postelles are the youngest band to ever land a residency at Pianos Bar, in NYC. Dubway engineer Eric Spring tracked and Cole Wenner assisted.

This month Dubway has been host to several Broadway recordings. Billy Stritch, well known for his work with Liza Minnelli as her piano player was in Dubway's Yellow Room tracking songs for his new album with Dubway engineer Chris Abell. The album is a collection of Mel Tormé covers titled Billy Stritch sings Mel Tormé and is due out later this year. Broadway songwriter Jonathan Gealt has been tracking songs with Dubway engineer Eric Spring for his new project. Guest singers have included Shoshana Bean, Lewis Cleale, Kelli O'Hara, and Lauren Kennedy. Speaking of Lauren Kennedy, producer Jeffrey Lesser was in this month with the Broadway singing star tracking songs for her forthcoming album. Ms Kennedy has starred in such shows as Monty Python's Spamalot, Les Misérables, Sunset Boulevard with Glenn Close, Side Show, and Cinderella at The New York City Opera. Dubway engineer Eric Spring tracked the session.

Pop producer Russ Titelman is currently working on the debut album for Alexis Fox. The album is drawing a lot of attention and has had a variety of well-known musicians sit in including brothers John & Martin Pizzarelli. Dubway engineer Chris Abell is tracking the sessions. Over on the Live@VH1 set this month The Bravery and Brandi Carlile taped sets, and at the Apple Store in SoHo another iTunes Event took place this month featuring The Good, The Bad, & The Queen. Dubway chief engineer Jason Marcucci and assistants Eric Spring and Mike Judeh tracked. Finally this month, French-American singer-songwriter Marc Farre just wrapped two new albums after many months of writing, tracking & mixing. Secret Symphany the long awaited follow up to his well-received Man on the Sun album should be out this fall in America and One Hand on the Night will be released in France. Dubway owners/engineers Mike Crehore & Al Houghton tracked & mixed the American album.

Variety is the spice of life. An eclectic batch of sessions have been taking place at Dubway over the last several weeks. Broadway Star Christine Ebersol was tracking vocals with Dubway engineer Chris Abel in the Yellow Room. Also in the Yellow Room was rock group Mobius Band tracking their new Ghostly Records release with engineer Emery Dobyns and Dubway second engineers Eric Spring and Mike Judeh.

Over in the Blue Room, Leonard Nimoy (Mr. Spock himself) was tracking narration for a film with Dubway owner/engineer Al Houghton. Dance producer/pop star Scott Hardkiss has been tracking his new solo album for several weeks now with Dubway chief engineer Jason Marcucci. Over at the Live@VH1 set this month was Dashboard Confessional with Dubway engineer Eric Spring and second engineer Mike Judeh. And finally, Linda Thompson with producer Ed Haber has been back continuing work on her new album with Dubway’s chief engineer Jason Marcucci.

Jessie Colter began tracking songs in Dubway Studios' Yellow Room this month with producer Lenny Kaye. Colter (who was married to the late country music legend Waylon Jennings) writes improvisational gospel-like piano-vocal songs. Kaye (known for his extensive work with Patti Smith) and Colter are long-time friends and have been planning this project for years. Dubway Studios engineer Eric Spring tracked the session.

Joss Stone was a guest this month on Live@VH1 as was newcomer James Morrison. Stone is promoting her new album Introducing Joss Stone on Virgin Records, and Morrison is promoting his debut album Undiscovered, on Polydor Records. Dubway chief engineer Jason Marcucci and second engineers Eric Spring & Mike Judeh tracked and mixed the tapings.

Chip Taylor was back continuing work on a new album. This time around he brought drummer Anton Fig and bassist Tony Mercadante to track. And lastly Nick Records brought in the new Wonder Pets album for mastering with Dubway Studios owner/engineer Mike Crehore.

Patti Smith was in Dubway Studios Yellow Room this month tracking narrative for her documentary. Renowned photographer Steven Sebring has been following the legendary rock star with a movie camera for ten years, slowly piecing together a documentary about her life. The film which is close to completion, is set to hit the film festival circuit later this year. Engineer Emery Dobyns tracked the session with Dubway assistant engineer Eric Spring. 80s pop-star Lisa Lisa (Lisa Lisa and the Cult Jam) has been tracking vocals at Dubway for a new album project. The singer still has a huge following in the dance music scene and recently sold out Madison Square Garden. Dubway Studios engineer Eric Spring tracked the session.

This month Norah Jones stopped by the Live@VH1 set to tape songs from her new album Not Too Late. The album is due out January 30th and has already received rave reviews. Dubway chief engineer Jason Marcucci and second engineer Eric Spring tracked and mixed the taping. Teddy Thompson, son of Richard Thompson is currently working on a new album and was in Dubway's Yellow Room tracking vocals. The sessions were tracked by Dubway chief engineer Jason Marcucci. Finally, a music scene in the new Jack Black film entitled Be Kind Rewind was shot at a church in New Jersey. The film, also stars Mos Def and is directed by well-known French director Michael Gondry. On the set tracking the music audio were Dubway's chief engineer Jason Marcucci and second engineer Eric Spring.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! 2006 has been quite a year for Dubway. We have remained busier than ever with no signs of slowing. Some of the highlights of this past year include VO work for a Life Time Television film For A Perfect Christmas, starring Christine Baranski. Fiona Apple, KT Tunstall, The Goo Goo Dolls and Beck were on our Live@VH1 show, Leona Naess & Ryan Adams tracked in our Yellow Room with Emery Dobyns. John Lithgow & Wayne Knight (Newman of Seinfeld) tracked with Al Houghton for a children's album. Marc Ribot tracked underscore with Keith Rigling for John Malkovich's new film called The Drunk Boat. We tracked a music segment in the new Michel Gondry film Be Kind Rewind starring Jack Black and Mos Def. We tracked foley sessions for the horror film Knock Knock. Yankees baseball star Robinson Cano tracked a VO for Frito Lay with Chris Abell. Linda Thompson (former wife of Richard Thompson) and producer Ed Haber tracked a song written for her by Rufus Wainwright for her new Rounder Records album. Jason Marcucci tracked the session. Chan Marshal of Cat Power tracked for iTunes Exclusives with Eric Spring. Moby brought in Debbie Harry to sing on his greatest hits album with Jason Marcucci. Alicia Keys and Cyndi Lauper sang on The Backyardigans, which Mike Crehore tracked. Original Media brought their new film to us The Living Wake to track underscore with Keith Rigling & Eric Spring. We did an entire week of tracking at The Apple Store for CMJ Week with bands like CSS, Cold War Kids, The Decemberists and The Rapture for iTunes with Jason Marcucci, Eric Spring, & Mike Judeh, and Whoopi Goldberg came in to track VO for a short animated film. Wow, what a year!

Whoopi Goldberg was in Dubway Studios Yellow Room this month tracking voice-overs for a new short animated film from Mighty Reel Films. Ms. Goldberg plays the part of a talking flower in the yet untitled film, which is expected out sometime in 2007. Dubway owner/engineer Al Houghton tracked the session. Harper Simon (son of Paul Simon) brought in Sean Lennon's (son of John) accompanying film to his new album Friendly Fire for some overdub work. The companion film to the album features Bijou Phillips, Carrie Fisher, and Lindsay Lohan. Dubway Studios engineer Keith Rigling tracked.

Apple iTunes hosted an event at their flagship Apple Store in SoHo with hot new buzz-band The Rapture. The band packed them in with a line around the block for the hour-long free concert. The performance was recorded for release as an iTunes exclusive. Dubway engineer Jason Marcucci and second engineer Eric Spring tracked and mixed the event. Long-time NYC favorites Life In a Blender began recording their new follow up album to 2002's Tell Me I'm Pretty. The songwriting of band-leader Don Ralph is as brilliant as ever. The album is due out in 2007 and was tracked and mixed by Dubway owner/engineer Al Hougton who also plays guitar in the band. Finally, 80s popstar and Prince collaborator Lisa Lisa was in Dubway's Yellow Room tracking songs for her forthcoming album. The sessions were tracked by Dubway engineer Eric Spring.

GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN AT DUBWAY STUDIOS - CYNDI LAUPER, DEBBIE HARRY, AND CAT POWER TRACK NEW PROJECTS

Pop stars Cyndi Lauper, Debbie Harry and Cat Power were at Dubway Studios working on new projects this month. Ms. Lauper guest sang on the Nick Jr. hit children’s television show The Backyardigans. The music-themed animated show has become increasingly hip and has attracted pop artists to guest sing such as Alicia Keys and hot session musicians like Marc Ribot. Debbie Harry dropped by to guest sing on Moby’s new greatest hits album, expected out later this year and Cat Power was in to track songs for an upcoming promotional project. Dubway engineers Mike Crehore, Jason Marcucci and Eric Spring tracked the sessions.

The producers of The Squid and the Whale & Half Nelson brought in their newest film to Dubway to track underscore. The comedy film is titled The Living Wake and is scheduled for a 2007 release. The sessions were recorded by Dubway engineer Keith Rigling, and second engineer Eric Spring. Over on the Live@VH1.com set, Five for Fighting performed several of their hit songs including 100 Years and World for the shows’ latest episode. Also on the set taping songs from their new albums were buzz band Pink Spiders from Nashville, and former Sound Garden front man Chris Cornell. Dubway engineer Jason Marcucci and second engineer Eric Spring tracked.

MAY & JUNE have been two busy months for Dubway. Nick Records brought in the latest Lazy Town album for mastering with Dubway Studios owner Mike Crehore. Producer Richard Barone was back, this time around with Jolie Jones (daughter of Quincy Jones) cutting tracks for her new children's album. Dubway's own Jason Marcucci and Mike Presta engineered. James Garfunkel (son of Art Garfunkel) was in tracking demos with Art's long-time engineer Stuart Breed. Dubway engineer Patrick McLemore assisted.

Elizabeth Ziff and her band Betty, whose fame is ever-increasing due to the Showtime Television hit series The L Word, was back in Dubway's Yellow Room tracking more songs for the show. This time around with Dubway engineer Jason Marcucci. Nick Jr.'s runaway hit television show The Backyardigans is in full production for season II. Musical Director Evan Lurie has been hard at work tracking a wide variety of music for the show with some of the hottest musicians in New York City. Dubway engineers Mike Crehore, Al Houghton and Keith Rigling have been tracking.

Some of the members of Blue Oyster Cult were in Dubway Studios Yellow Room with Dubway engineer Mike Presta. The band was backing well-known singer and long-time friend Fabienne Shine for her upcoming album project. Ms. Shine and band are old touring mates and have traveled many miles together.

Finally, production on the Original Media/VH1 show Live At VH1 is going strong and continues to attract some of the biggest artists in the music business including Alanis Morissette. Alanis and band stopped by the set to tape a live performance in support of her world tour celebrating the ten-year anniversary of Jagged Little Pill. Dubway engineer Jason Marcucci recorded and mixed the session.

Another busy month at Dubway Studios! Singer-songwriter Linda Thompson and producer Ed Haber were in Dubway’s Yellow Room to cut a track written for her by Rufus Wainwright. The song will be featured on her forthcoming Rounder Records album. Dubway chief engineer Jason Marcucci tracked the session.

Another Rounder Records project at Dubway was well-known Bluegrass artist Tony Trischka. Trischka is tracking songs for his new “Dueling Banjos” record expected out later this year. Over in Dubway’s Green Room, Yankees baseball star Robinson Cano was tracking voiceovers for a new Frito Lay radio contest. Dubway engineer Chris Abell tracked the session.

Recording sessions for season two of the Nick Jr. hit children’s television show The Backyardigans continues to go well. Young Jordan Coleman, who plays the speaking voice of Tyrone, invited classmates to the studio for a brief tour and to sit in on his recording session with voice coach Koyalee Chanda. Dubway engineer Keith Rigling tracked and Dubway Production Assistant Mark Altman assisted.

Ariola Productions
brought their latest film to Dubway for ADR and Foley. The horror film, titled Knock Knock, is directed by Joe Ariola. Dubway engineers Keith Rigling, Mark Altman, and intern Pedro Perez tracked and created Foley.

This month on the Live@VH1.com set, 30 seconds to Mars led by actor Jared Leto performed songs from their latest Virgin Records album The Kill. Also taping for the show is Motown recording artist India Arie, Sony recording artist Cheyene, and newcomer Corinne Bail Rae who records for EMI. Tracking the sessions were Dubway Studios’ chief engineer Jason Marcucci and assistant Eric Spring.

Renowned guitarist Marc Ribot has been back at Dubway Studios this month. This time around he was in tracking the film score for the new John Malkovich film titled The Drunk Boat. Marc brought in some big-gun session players including Jill Jaffe on viola and Anthony Coleman on claviola & piano. Dubway engineer Keith Rigling tracked and Eric Spring assisted. Actor John Lithgow was in Dubway’s Yellow Room tracking a new children’s album he is producing. Mr. Lithgow brought in none other than Wayne Knight also known as Newman from Seinfeld fame to help out on voice-overs. Dubway Studios’ owner/engineer Al Houghton tracked the session. Also from the thespian world, actor Patrick Wilson (Angels in America, Phantom of the Opera) was in Dubway’s Blue Room tracking a voice over for a new environmental documentary film. Dubway chief engineer Jason Marcucci tracked the session.

This month on the Live@VH1.com set, The Goo Goo Dolls performed songs from their new Warner Bros. album Let Love In. Also on the set was Jewel, performing songs from her forthcoming Atlantic album Goodbye Alice in Wonderland. Tracking the sessions were Dubway Studios’ chief engineer Jason Marcucci and assistant Tyler Clabaugh. Electro-pop star Moby was in Dubway Studios’ Yellow Room producing a new track for 80’s Pop group The Bongos. The song is for a compilation album due out later this year. Dubway Studios’ chief engineer Jason Marcucci tracked. Finally, singer-songwriter Marc Farre began tracking his new album in Dubway this month. Mr. Farre has a well established following in France, where he has toured heavily. Dubway owner/engineer Al Houghton tracked the sessions.

Leona Naess has been back at Dubway Studios this month continuing work on her highly anticipated new album. This time around she brought in Ryan Adams and Ben Lee to sing some backing vocals on two tracks. Dubway engineer Emery Dobyns tracked the sessions.

Singer songwriter Anthony Hamilton stopped by the Live@VH1.com set this month to promote his new album Ain’t Nobody Worryin'. Also on the set, KT Tunstall who is currently on tour promoting her new album Eye to the Telescope and former lead singer of LIVE, Ed Kowalczyk, also on tour to promote his new solo album Songs from Black Mountain. Dubway Studios’ chief engineer Jason Marcucci tracked and Eric Spring assisted.

Renowned guitar player Marc Ribot (Elvis Costello, Tom Waits, T-Bone Burnett) was in Dubway Studios' Yellow Room tracking demos for his upcoming album project with drummer Ches Smith and bass player Shahzad Ismaily. Franscious Lardeau engineered the session and Dubway engineer Patrick McLemore assisted. And finally, legendary Broadway singer Audra McDonald was in with Music Director Ted Sperling and composer Michael John LaChiusa, tracking songs for an upcoming performance at the Houston Grand Opera.

2005 proved to be Dubway Studios biggest year. The well-known Manhattan recording studio saw record growth last year and has fast become one of New York City’s hottest places to track. LifeTime Television brought in the ever-ubiquitous Christine Baranski for some ADR work on her starring roll in the film Recipe For A Perfect Christmas. The Christmas special aired in December just in time for the holidays. Dubway owner/engineer Mike Crehore tracked the session and was assisted by Keith Rigling. Live@VH1.com continued its heavy production schedule into the new year. This time on the set were Fiona Apple, Kelly Clarkson, and Franz Ferdinand, among others. Dubway Studios’ chief engineer Jason Marcucci tracked and Eric Spring assisted.

Working on his follow up to Edible Darling, Ben Arthur has been back at Dubway tracking a batch of new songs. Studio owners/engineers Al Houghton and Mike Crehore have been sharing the engineering duties. Ben ended his deal with Bardic/Sony and is currently being looked at by several labels. Chip Taylor has been getting ready to release his new album and has been working with Dubway engineer Mike Presta for the last several months. The well-known country-folk artist best known for writing the hit song “Wild Thing” continues to record and tour the world. His new album is expected out later this year. Singer-songwriter Terry Winchell has been in Dubway’s Yellow Room mixing and putting the final touches on her new release with Dubway owner/engineer Al Houghton. The folk-flavored album is being produced by Mark McCarron.
