Music Tracking for Virtual Reality Film

Stephen Kurpis was the lead engineer on a music tracking session for a Virtual Reality Film this past week. The Virtual Reality film, 'Seeking Pluto's Frigid Heart', will premiere at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival this April. Graham Roberts of the New York Times (who previously brought the Kronos Quartet in to Dubway) produced 'The Pluto Chorale', recording a vocal quartet with both traditional recording methods and the use of a Soundfield Surround Sound microphone.

Mr. Robert's interactive art will feature Virtual Reality audio and video components that utilize head tracking technology to immerse the user in the environment that he has created.
